The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Zbëk Öwlan Kez is buildings folow an organic layout of narrow baked earthen streets whihch gives the town a shape simmilar to a tree, if one views its streets from above. The town has a defencive wall made from large clay bricks. The wall is constructed to the exact specifications of millitary fortifications, but the nature of its clay brick construction leaves it vulnerable to even outdated siege equipment. That said, the town is well defended against anything short of an army. Zbëk Öwlan Kez's brittle defences are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.
Right off the bat Zbëk Öwlan Kez hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this town has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things.

History

Reminders of this better time can be found in many places within Zbëk Öwlan Kez.
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Zbëk Öwlan Kez was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Zbëk Öwlan Kez lost 225 people, 122 livestock, and 68 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 129, when members of Zbëk Öwlan Kez's militia enacted an operation to delay the operations of the enemy. The operation was complicated by the enemy setting up an ambush. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in a crushing defeat for Zbëk Öwlan Kez's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Zbëk Öwlan Kez's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
